Arc Flash Training is a safety program designed to educate employees on the hazards associated with arc flash incidents – sudden releases of electrical energy due to a fault in an electrical system. These incidents can cause serious injuries or fatalities due to extreme heat, pressure waves, and flying debris. This course covers: What an arc flash is and how it occurs, common causes, hazards and potential injuries, preventative measures, NFPA 70E compliance, and incident response. We offer this in both 4hr and 8hr training courses.
