SRCO offers both Qualitative and Quantitative fit testing. Whether your using a N95 dust mask or a SCBA we are able to provide the testing you need.
Medical Evaluations
SRCO provides Medical Evaluations through an online platform and can complete these onsite or prior to the scheduled fit testing time. Employees receive a copy of the approved evaluation and fit test after completion.
According to CFR 1910.134(e)
“Using a respirator may place a physiological burden on employees that varies with the type of respirator worn, the job and workplace conditions in which the respirator is used, and the medical status of the employee. Accordingly, this paragraph specifies the minimum requirements for medical evaluation that employers must implement to determine the employee’s ability to use a respirator.”
Respirator Fit Testing
We can provide testing on many different brands including Scott, 3M, North, and MSA. Respirators and filters are available for purchase upon request, some may be special order. Please see our catalogue for available respirators and filters.
According to CFR 1910.134(f)(2)
“The employer shall ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator is fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter.”
